 First Impressions

I got the Booty Glove on its white version (it’s also available in pink and blue) and kind of regretted the purchase as soon as I unpacked the parcel. The package is somber and takes itself way too seriously, promising to change the way we play with ourselves and with our partners.

In reality, the Booty Glove is basically a silicone textured glove usable in either hand. The palm of the glove has ribs at an angle, the fingers have bumps / nubs all around them and there is a webbed area between the thumb and the index finger with a small mouth. Imagine one of those silicone cooking gloves but with a hole to “help you finish”. This toy definitively is on the weird looking side, not on the “creepy” side…

As soon I wore it for the first time, I felt stupid. I looked like a Michael Jackson’s impersonator with one weird-looking white glove in one hand, jerking off to a movie playing on my laptop. I was scared of being caught wearing it because it was totally surreal… it even felt criminal…

Review

Honestly, my first use of the glove was disappointing. The glove’s textures felt good, but required so much lube that by the end of my first session my crotch was basically bathed in the stuff. The whole thing was too messy for my liking, specially because I was staying with my parents when I wrote this review. The last thing I needed was my mother asking what the hell was the humidity stain in the bed sheets at my age…

After a couple more sessions, I got the “grip” of it. The Booty is a toy better used in the bathroom, where lube mess is not a big deal. If you insist on using it on the bedroom, prepare the area with a couple of towels or if you are fancy with special sheets. Also, the type of lube will make a world of difference. A super slick lube like the ones used for nuru massage will work best with this toy.

Once you get the tricks of this toy, it is not so bad. The textures do change the sensations during a hand job session, with the bumps being really good for focal stimulation of the glans, the clitoris, or even for vaginal / anal fingering. The ribs are perfect for the shaft of the penis and other tissue like breasts, thighs, and ass cheeks. The little mouth is designed for the penis, but with a little imagination it could be used for other areas such as nipples and even the clit.

The Booty allows for decent hand use – if you have used winter working gloves you get a similar range of movement – so for couple’s play I can imagine myself using gloves in both hands. That would be a weird looking, but highly interesting session of sensation play…

Cleaning the Booty is easy as washing your hands. I preferred to clean it while wearing it, so it was just like washing hands – making it a lot easier to remove.

Verdict

Honestly, the Booty is not my preferred type of toy. It requires lots of lube to be effective, so you need to make lots of preparation to avoid damaging your bed or chair, making it annoying for solo play.

For couples play, on the other hand, it can be an interesting toy. If you like sensation play with your partner, the Booty Glove is a relatively inexpensive tool to have in your toy box. The textures are strong enough to change the sensations of hand-based masturbation and soft enough to be used for a different massage – given that you have the appropriate lube for it.

And given you can ignore how stupid you will look wearing this glove…
