Rubber Pussy Project #182: ToMax MUSES Fillo

Note: I wanted to do a video review of this toy, but I have a very hoarse throat thanks to all the laughing I had this week with the election’s drama (hey, I’m a weird guy – I laugh when others cry. It’s my nature!) I am resting my voice, so I’ll maybe do the video when I recover my voice.

As I mentioned in my review of the Muses Arkhe, my good friends at QueenCat Adult Toys sent me a couple of toys for my consideration, including today’s review. Today, I’m reviewing the Fillo, another of the models from the Muses line. With the Arkhe and the Kokalo, the Fillo completes the line of toys inspired on the Greek culture.

The Arkhe was super realistic and an excellent toy (as expected from ToMax), so is the Fillo a good toy? Lets go to the review!

 First Impressions

Just like the Arkhe, the Fillo comes in a beautifully designed box. Antique mosaic illustrations, pencil-looking drawings, and lots of Greek cultural references. I was questioning why ToMax decided to call this toy Fillo – like the pastry – but then realized the word means leaf.

Why leaf? What the hell a leaf has to do with a heavy masturbation sleeve? As soon I noticed the details of the cross section I realized it: The tunnel of this toy is shaped like a leaf! This is something unique in the industry, and joined with the weird lumpy areas inside – maybe inspired in the cellular structures of leaves -, the Fillo promises interesting sessions as soon I fingered to check it.

I got my Fillo in the Very Soft firmness and it felt like I was fingering cotton candy – fluffy, soft, delicate, and ready to eat! So I lubed this 2 pounds of TPE, placed it in my Nui torso and went to town…

Review

I used the Fillo only as a doll insert and I have to admit this toy surprised me. Because of the apparently simple tunnel design and the softness of the material I was  expecting a smooth and long session – and my first session was anything like that!

The whole tunnel is covered in small structures – micro bumps at the entrance and then micro ribs around everything after you pass the first bump – so your penis is always attacked by some sensation. I got the Very Soft firmness and I felt the surprise of the microribs rubbing my penis’ head when going deep into the lumps. My experience with ToMax toys tells me that the firmness level totally changes the experience, so I can only imagine how intense this toy can be in the Hard level! As I said, the micro ribs surprised me, so my first session lasted no more than 20 minutes – a good session, but I wanted to experience a longer session…

For  my second session with the Fillo I already knew what to expect, so I paced myself. This time I did not only enjoyed the textures inside the tunnel, but also the suction created by the leaf-shaped tunnel. This time, I lasted as much as I wanted and that buildup was epic!

Cleaning this toy requires you to be careful with any excess water retained at the closed end of the tunnel, but it dries a lot easier than the Arkhe.

Verdict

Not on the realistic side of ToMax toys, the Muses Fillo is a creative and interesting toy. It feels organic thanks to the lumps inside and the micro-textures and it can be surprisingly stimulating because it attacks the most sensitive parts of the penis at all times. Highly recommended!
