2025 is a week shy of ending, and being honest, I am happy this year is ending…
The Ugly
The ugly stuff 2025 dumped on me was all money related issues. We sold our previous home in April and had to accept an offer $25,000 below the appraisal value. We also had to sell both cars (I cannot drive at the moment due to my conditions and the cars were already getting damaged because lack of use). The buyer of my dad’s F150 did one of his old tricks and scammed us out of $1,000 on an already low price. Then a relative insisted on selling my grandma’s home and we had constant headbutting because he wanted to use our money to fix the house. With family like that, who need enemies!
The Bad
On the bad side, it was a stressful year. I had to manage two moves, deal with my mother, plus getting used to live with someone else after 20 years of living by myself. I am also dealing with my conditions getting worse (thanks to the lack of pain management treatment since I moved to Puerto Rico a year ago). My stuff is in a storage facility since April – the toys that made it to Puerto Rico, most of my clothes, guitars, hobby equipment and even a brand new bed frame. I had been sleeping with the same three dolls for nine months, using my hand alone since all my decent masturbation sleeves are in storage. To add insult to injury, I am in pain 24/7, have 20 times more work than when I lived by myself, and feel 20 years older than I felt back in January 2024…
The Good
The only good thing of 2025 (besides the fact it is ending), is that I am finally stabilizing. I moved with my mother into what I expect to be my home for the next 20 years, got a budget that works for me, and I am rebuilding relationships back at the Island (as well as creating new ones). In addition, I restarted posting in this blog (realized this will be my 11th post – more than in the last two years combined). It will take me a while to adjust completely, but I am in the process…
So, what are the plans for the new year?
Being honest, my plans for 2026 are still in draft mode, but so far, these are my plans:
- Continue to post here. Yes, maybe just a handful of people read my posts, but this is a therapy for me, so yes, I will continue doing this.
- Reviews will be of “old” stuff. During my move from New York, I realized I have dozens of toys still in their packages. There are dolls from Valentina Girls and Dekunoboo I never reviewed. I can easily spend 2026 reviewing these “old” stuff – which is perfect because buying new toys or getting them shipped is very difficult and expensive now that I live in Puerto Rico.
- Plan to assist Frolicon. Yes, I am planning to assist to my favorite kinky convention in May 14, 2026. In fact, I submitted two sessions proposals (which most likely will be rejected due to the topics I chose). The point is, I am planning to attend and enjoy that convention.
- Plan to design new merch. The plan is to have new designs representing my three “brands” (The Rubber Pussy Project or RPP, My Way, and The Doll Life) on my Spreadshirt store after the Holidays.
