RPP 3.0 #23: Fleshlight’s Lotus (RPP #75)

The Lotus texture is the “standard” texture for any of the Fleshlight Girls sleeves you buy. It is sold by Fleshlight as the “most realistic” texture in the market – something that most FL hardcore users completely disagree (yours truly included). The fact is that I avoided buying the Lotus for a long time simply because I knew how temperamental is this sleeve. When I finally decided to buy it, –  a Misty Stone I bought to use with “Rosa” – I already had a Lotus Lager and a Mini Lotus and I was used to the time it required to find the perfect quantity of lubricant that would allow me to enjoy the texture as I wanted. Now I also have have an Asa Akira Lotus thanks to a mistake from ILF, but I don’t complain.

Is the Lotus a bad texture? No, not really… but it is a tricky, temperamental sleeve that can make you feel in Seventh Heaven or completely frustrated due to smoothness. Want to know more? Keep reading…

General Description

The Lotus is a smooth texture with a canal that has various chambers of different diameters as the source of stimulation. If you look at a textbook illustration of a vagina, you will notice that the diameter variations were designed to copy the shapes inside the vagina. In THAT SENSE, the Lotus is the most realistic texture from ILF. At the 4 inches mark, you will find what could be the Lotus’ major accomplishment – the cervical node. This choking point “pops” when you penetrate it, simulating the sensation of reaching a woman’s cervix. Behind the cervical node, you go back to a smooth chamber, followed by a series of shorter smooth chambers. To reach these smaller chambers, you need to have a penis at least 6 inches long, with 7 inches being the consensus to really enjoy the whole sleeve.

Review

When I made the review of the Mini Lotus two years ago, I wrote:

Once properly lubed, fucking the LF Fleshlight feels pretty close to real vaginal sex. Unfortunately, the sleeve doesn’t have any interior texture such as bumps or ridges, leaving all the stimulation to the size variation of the main canal. Close, but not exactly the same…

Well, there are two main differences between the Mini Lotus and the full size Lotus. The first difference is the tightness. The Lotus has a slightly wider canal, maybe 1/8″ wider than the mini lotus version.

The second main difference is the location of the chambers. The mini Lotus has the cervical node at the 3  inches mark, with the smaller chambers present at the 5 inches mark. In the full size Lotus, the cervical node is at the 4 inches mark and the smaller chambers are not available until the 6 inches mark.

Those differences make the Lotus a smoother texture than the mini, specially is you have a penis shorter than 7 inches long. With an average or shorter than average penis, you will reach the cervical node, but you won’t be able to pass the first small chamber – which are the additional stimulation besides the cervical node. This was one of the major complaints from hardcore Fleshlight users – this texture was designed for hung guys.

Because I have a measly 5 inch penis, I get mostly smooth surfaces with the exception of the cervical node. Now that I am used to smooth textures – and the fact that I like to build my orgasms – I can say I enjoy this texture, but if this would had been my first toy, I would be probably still using my hand (and I would have a few thousands $$$ in my bank account!).

Like with most Fleshlights, adjusting the cap will change how pronounced you will feel the texture. Keep the cap tight, and the Lotus is smooth like the Original with a slight variation. Loose the cap and the cervical node becomes alive, popping at every thrust. The Lotus will make you cum hard, but the orgasms are not too intense (you won’t be grinding your teeth or curling your toes). You will feel your prostate pumping out, and depending how horny you are, be prepared for a repeat.

Like all Fleshlights, the Lotus is easy to clean, requiring some flushing with running water and air drying. For this one, be sure to flush water through the sleeve from the back end of the sleeve to avoid semen accumulation on the inverted cervical node. Drying the interior can be a hassle due again to the cervical node.

Score:

Immediate Feedback: 4/5
Orgasm Buildup: 5/5
Realism: 4/5
Tightness: 3/5
Tear and Wear: 5/5
Hygiene: 4/5
Maintenance: 5/5
Use: 4/5

Value: High
Preference: Moderate

Total score:  34 / 40

Verdict:

The Lotus is a good sleeve for orgasms build-up, but its smoothness and the need to be above average length to enjoy it really decreases its score. With the Vortex, the Lotus is one of the most realistic textures available from Fleshlight, although it is a joke when compared to meikis. Still a good sleeve for a lazy morning session.

FYI:

For this review, I used Honey Drops as the lube. As said, I have a bunch of packets of this thing. No porn was used for this review.

  1. I have the Super Tight too and it is great for building an orgasm – smooth and snug. Give a few sessions to the Real, I really began to enjoy mine after the second session (regular firmness)…
