Rubber Pussy Project #175: Muses Arkhe (ToMax)

Last summer, many of you asked my opinion about the latest masturbator from ToMax – the Muses. More specifically, you asked me about the Muses Arkhe, which is the realistic texture from the series. Of course, your friend El Casque said he was going to review it in the future, so I contacted my friends at QueenCat Adult Toys (ToMax distributors in the USA), and since they love my reviews, they agreed on sending me a couple of toys – including the Muses Arkhe.

So, is the Muses Arkhe a good toy for your collection? Let’s go to the review!

First Impressions

Since I tested my first ever toy from ToMax (the Succubus Dots – back in 2012!), I realized I was dealing with better quality than expected for the price. Using the Venus series, I gave my FIRST EVER perfect score, and the Lilith series has one of my favorite toys with the Uterus. ToMax has placed the bar really, really high in terms of realism and quality, so my expectations were already high for the Muses.

Well, my first impressions surpassed my expectations – easily. When you receive the toy, you get it in one of the most beautiful boxes I have seen in any brand . A colorful box with lots of nods to the mythology behind the Muses name, using its relationship with classic Greek history via the graphics imitating mosaics, the use of Greek letters and symbols, and graphics drawn in the style of DaVinci’s codices. If you are a history buff like me, you’ll notice the details and get intrigued right away…

Of course, the box is not important – the toy is. The toy is slightly smaller than the Venus (just short of one inch shorter), but is a heavy weight with 1.5 pounds of material to hump. The entrance is an interesting one, with one of the most truthful reproductions of the vulva I have seen – it even shows the  urethral hole – and at the right position you’ll see the anal hole. These holes are not penetrable, but they are a nice visual detail.

Look at that…

The orifice is a small one, but ToMax TPE formulation is very elastic even in the hardest firmness, so tearing is not a concern unless you have a monster penis. Fingering the toy as I always do, I could feel the tight tunnel and the delicate, realistic ribbed texture similar to the Lilith Uterus and the Venus Real. It has a couple of bumps inside the tunnel to add a little bit more stimulation, but the prize is at the end of the road.  I pushed my finger all the way in and reached the bulbous entrance to the uterus – a concept taken from the Lilith Uterus, but with two variations. The first variation is a bigger, “meatier” entrance that gives a bigger “pop” when fucking it. The second variation is the slight upward curve of the tunnel, making the position of the uterus a more anatomically correct than in other toys.

The next step was to use the toy with my fifth appendage, so I lubed this toy and went to town…

Review

I used the muses Arkhe as a stroker and as an insert in two of my dolls – Nina (medical mannequin) and the new Nui (also from ToMax – wait for the review in future posts). As a stroker, the texture is noticeable and it feels good, but the weight of the toy quickly turned the session in a dumbbell shoulder exercise set. You have no idea how heavy a 1.5 pound toy feels until you have been pumping it up and down for 45 minutes…

Like the Venus, this toy shines as an insert. With the Nui – a lightweight cloth torso filled with poly fiber – it felt good and it was a great toy for some girl-on-top action. Since the texture is not too intense – and I got my Arkhe in the Soft version – my sessions with this toy were all about the build up and God, these orgasms were powerful!

But as good my sessions were with the Nui, they paled in comparison with my sessions using the Arkhe with my heavier modified medical mannequin. Since this mannequin weights around 45 pounds, I can pound the the toy as much as I want – and the Arkhe is a tough toy that takes all the “punishment” you give it. In those sessions, I went deep and reached the uterus… good God, it felt nice! Because I got the toy in the Soft level, the pop was not too pronounced, but noticeable enough on my penis head to put me in overdrive. In one of the sessions I ended totally spent on top of the mannequin, just panting as if finishing an UFC fight…

I know it was a doll…STILL COUNTS AS SEX!

Now, cleaning this toy is maybe the only negative thing I have to say about it. Because it has a thin tunnel surrounded by lots of material plus an uterus node – which ALWAYS retain fluids – washing and drying can be annoying. Drying takes too long for comfort – so ToMax developed a strip of absorbent material to help you dry this type of toy. I did not get these “masturbator tampons”, but instead went to my nearest dollar store and got regular female tampons.

Yeah, you should have seen the cashier’s face…

Verdict

The Muses Arkhe is yet another excellent toy for those of us looking for realistic toys. With a texture similar to the proven Venus Real and Lilith Uterus, the Arkhe ramps it up by adding a fatter uterus entrance and a more anatomical approach with an upwards curve. With five different firmness levels to choose, you can get a wide variety of sensations by just buying this toy in two (or three) different firmness levels. If realism is your thing, this toy MUST be in your collection!
